Setting a custom prefix

Set a custom prefix to ensure the bot doesn't interfere with other bots.

Syntax: <> = required, [] = optional

Before you begin..

Astro Beats supports a mention prefix . What this means is that @ mentioning of Astro Beats before the command acts just the same as using the bot's prefix or / command. This can be useful if you want to change Astro Beats prefix without changing the prefix of other bots at the same time. If somehow, the prefix has been lost, you can also mention Astro Beats on its own and it will reply with some information including the prefix.

Setting a custom prefix

Lets say You want to change the default prefix (.ab) of Astro Beats for whatever reason, you can do this in the following ways:

Changing the prefix from .ab to .a with @ mention prefix

Changing the prefix from .ab to .a with a command

One of the easier of the configuration commands, just type .abprefix <newPrefix>

Reminder: Replace <newPrefix> with your desired new prefix of choice.
